Nature of the service
“La Cure” is a service offered by Jouvence Care whose purpose includes facilitating access to wellbeing services and putting users in contact with independent professionals such as doctors, nutritionists, coaches or other practitioners, depending on the services available and the territory concerned.
The role of Jouvence Care
Jouvence Care acts as an intermediary putting people in contact and may provide administrative or technical functions, in particular presenting the professionals, arranging appointments, passing on the information needed to organise the consultation and, where provided for, facilitating payment. Jouvence Care does not practise as a doctor, a nutritionist or any other regulated profession merely by offering this introduction service.
Independence of the professionals
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the professionals listed within La Cure practise independently. They are not employees of Jouvence Care and retain their professional autonomy. Each professional remains solely responsible, within the limits set by law, for the service they provide, for their assessments, recommendations, advice and decisions, and for compliance with the professional, ethical and regulatory rules applicable to them.
No diagnosis or prescription by Jouvence Care
Jouvence Care does not make medical diagnoses and does not issue medical prescriptions. General content, administrative questionnaires, wellness information and communications from Jouvence Care do not constitute a diagnosis, a prescription or a personalised treatment. Where a doctor or other qualified professional is involved, any assessment within their competence is made under their own professional responsibility.
No guarantee of results
No medical, physiological, nutritional, aesthetic, sporting or wellbeing result can be guaranteed by Jouvence Care merely as a result of putting a user in contact with a professional. Any results depend in particular on the user's individual situation and on factors beyond the control of Jouvence Care.
Information passed to the professional
In order to prepare for an appointment, Jouvence Care may collect and pass to the professional certain strictly necessary administrative information, in particular the user's identity and contact details together with what is needed to organise the appointment. Jouvence Care seeks to limit the collection of detailed medical data. Laboratory results, complete medical records, detailed histories or other sensitive data should not be sent unprompted to Jouvence Care's general customer service. Where such information is necessary for a service, it should ideally be given directly to the professional through an appropriate channel.
Payment and booking
Depending on the journey offered, Jouvence Care may facilitate the booking and payment of a service. This administrative or technical involvement does not change the professional independence of the practitioner and does not transfer to Jouvence Care the responsibility attaching to the professional's acts, advice or assessments.
Availability by territory
The availability of La Cure and of particular professionals may vary with the user's country of residence, the professional's place of practice, their qualifications and authorisations, and the applicable local rules. Jouvence Care may limit or suspend access to a professional or to a type of service in a jurisdiction where this is necessary to comply with applicable rules.
Urgent situations
La Cure is not an emergency service. Where a situation requires urgent or immediate medical care, the user must contact the emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional in their country and must not wait for a consultation arranged through Jouvence Care.
Products and introductions
Being put in contact with a professional is separate from the Jouvence Care product business. An independent professional retains their autonomy and must not be regarded as obliged to recommend a Jouvence Care product. Jouvence Care does not guarantee that a product presented on its site is appropriate, authorised or available for a given user or in a given jurisdiction. The availability of certain products may be subject to specific regulatory restrictions.
Personal data
The processing of personal data carried out by Jouvence Care is described in its Privacy Policy. Where a professional processes information directly in the course of their own practice, they may also act as a controller for the data whose purposes and means they determine, in accordance with the rules applicable to them.
Acceptance
By using La Cure or requesting an introduction, the user acknowledges that they have understood the intermediary role of Jouvence Care, the independence of the professional and the limits described in this disclaimer, without prejudice to the mandatory rights they enjoy under applicable law.
